Meet Nola!

Hey everyone, I'm Nola a female Springer Spaniel who's nearly 4 years old.
I am a very gentle and affectionate girl once I get to know you and shower my special people with love, I just need a bit of time and patience with strangers. You'll know I love you if I greet you with my special teddys and a very wiggly spaniel bottom!
I haven't been out and about much lately so I am enjoying learning that walks are fun and if there is water or puddles involved even better. I can be a bit excitable on the lead but am doing really well with my lose lead training and here at the centre I have been enjoying having a run and letting my spaniel nose get to work and then practising my recall.
I am very gentle and am good to handle and groom. I love being around my special people so much so I wouldn't enjoy being left for long periods of time, and this would need to be built up gradually over time.
I have lived with cats before so could do again, but need to be the only dog in the house. I'm not too keen on other dogs whilst out walking either and although I am getting better everyday the staff here at the centre have started my muzzle training. I could possibly live with older children and would suit a home with a garden ideally.
