Many of the dogs that come into our care here at the NAWT are more senior in their years and it can put off some prospective owners. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case for Jessica who adopted 9 year old staffie Blue from our Hertfordshire centre in 2016.

Badger and Bam Bam (formerly Crumpet and Waffle) came to us in November 2021 because their owners were moving house and couldn't keep them. They're a very sweet pair but like most guinea pigs, they were quite shy when they came to us.

Birdie arrived at NAWT in May 2021 when she was 5 and a half years old. She had been a very much-loved member of the family in her previous home, but sadly her owners were no longer able to look after her, so they brought her to NAWT to find a new home.

When young Carlos came into our Hertfordshire branch in September 2021 it was the start of a new challenge. Carlos came to us after his owner sadly passed away, so we set out to find his new forever home and hopefully heal his broken heart.

We were not informed of any previous medical history when Gerald arrived in our care (along with his female friends Peggy and Edith) but it was clear to see that his eyes weren’t quite right.
