Cheeky Rocco the parrot uses Amazon Alexa to order his fruit!

Our very own Rocco the African Grey Parrot hit the headlines after being mentioned in The Sun, Daily Mail and on The Today Programme with John Humphrys!

He has also been featured in The Times and Fox News.

Stunning Rocco was taken in by NAWT Berkshire after being found as a stray.

Despite causing a few issues initially in the office, by swearing regularly and throwing his water bowl around, our dedicated staff member Marion Wischnewski agreed to take him home!

Now Rocco has found new ways to spend his time, he has 'fallen in love' with Marion's Amazon Alexa — and keeps using it to order shopping.

So far he has demanded treats such as strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream.

His story has also been featured in the BBC, ITV, People, and Huffington Post.

Marion of our Berkshire-based animal shelter in Great Shefford said: " I have come home before and he has romantic music playing.

"He loves to dance and has the sweetest personality."

Rocco has even made top news across the pond in the USA and national Indian news including CBS and Times of India.
