Write your Will for free with NAWT this October

This Free Wills Month, you can ensure your loved ones are taken care of after you’re gone by creating, or updating, your Will for free.

Here at NAWT, we understand how stressful writing a Will can be. That’s why we have partnered with the award-winning firm Farewill, to be able to give something back to our supporters.

All this month, you can use what’s been described as an ‘easy and pain-free service’ to create your legally binding Will online in just 15 minutes. This includes live support from Farewill’s team of experts.

During your Will writing process, you may choose to leave a life-changing gift to the National Animal Welfare Trust. This decision would help to guarantee a brighter future for the homeless pets that come through our doors every day.

As a charity, we rely very much on the kindness of gifts left to us in Wills. In fact, one in every two homeless animals helped by NAWT are funded in this way. Therefore, without it, we simply wouldn’t exist today.

Noodle is an example of how legacies ensure we can be ready to help an animal in need. Noodle was faced with a life-or-death situation, until Medivet Watford got in touch with us and asked if we could help as a matter of urgency. He had been found at the side of the road in a very bad way. His leg was so severely broken, that unfortunately the only option was to amputate it.

However, before surgery could be performed, Medivet needed to be sure that he would have somewhere safe to go afterwards to recover. Despite being at full capacity, after hearing Noodle’s story, we simply could not turn him away. Seeing him pictured abandoned and all alone with such a terrible injury was heartbreaking. Safely in our care now, Noodle is recovering well and will shortly be heading to a new home. You can read more on Noodle’s story here.

If you do decide to start your Will journey with us today, there is no obligation to include the NAWT in your Will. However, if you decide to support us with a gift, you will be helping to put homeless pets into loving homes for years to come.

From everyone here at NAWT, thank you.
