Meet Shadow!

Hello, I’m Shadow, a 7 year old boy looking for a new home. I’ve been passed around a few different homes since my original owner passed away and I’m desperate to find somewhere permanent to stay now so I can finally feel settled.

I’m a sweet boy with a big personality you’re sure to fall in love with. I’m very talkative and will happily meow away at you, telling you exactly how I feel. I’m especially chatty when I’ve decided that it’s dinner time and the humans haven’t noticed my empty bowl yet! I really like spending time with people, and I’m very affectionate so if you’re sat on the sofa it won’t take me long to find you and come over for strokes and fusses. I haven’t really been in the mood to play with toys since my life became unsettled, but occasionally I will get the urge to chase down a fly so I think that once I feel at home, my playful side will start to show more, I just need a bit of time.

I have previously lived with other cats but they weren’t very friendly to me so now I’m nervous of them and would prefer not to live with them again. I have also lived with a dog before and that was ok once I got used to her, so I wouldn’t mind living with another dog as long as they were very calm and were used to being around cats. I sometimes like to have a little potter around outside, but I mainly like to spend time at home, so access to a garden would be nice but not essential. Any children I live with will need to be sensible and old enough to know when to give me space.
