Meet Noodle!

Hi, I’m Noodle! You might recognise me from the papers, as they covered the story of how NAWT rescued me from being put to sleep when I was found abandoned after a car accident. Thanks to the team here, I have been able to have surgery to amputate my front leg and now I have my whole life ahead of me, I just need someone to share it with.

I am a 1 year old, friendly boy who is always excited to meet people and make friends, play with toys and I love to have a cuddle. I am full of energy, although I do keep being told I need to take things easy at the moment so I can recover. I haven’t quite got the memo that I’ve had major surgery, I’m just so happy to be pain-free and surrounded by caring people and I’m determined to not let it hold me back. For the first few weeks, you will need to make sure I take things steady and don’t push myself too far. After this, I expect to live a normal, healthy life on three legs.

It’s really important that someone in my family will be home with me most of the day, as I hate being alone, it reminds me of the awful time I spent abandoned and hurt after my accident. I get on really well with other dogs so I would be happy to live with one, as long as we get on well, but I can’t live with cats. Any children in my family will need to understand how to behave calmly around me and play with me nicely. I would like to find a home with a nice secure garden for me to exercise in and build up more strength.
