Meet Echo!

Hello, I’m Echo, a gorgeous 5 year old Greyhound looking for a loving home now that I have retired from racing.

I came to the centre with my best friend Duncan and we were very scared at first but the lovely team at NAWT, showered us in love and praise and now we’re absolutely thriving. It would be amazing if someone would like to rehome us together as we are truly bonded by our past and seek reassurance in each other but we would be brave enough to find our own separate forever homes if we need to.

I’m an adorable loveable goofball, I love fuss and attention, particularly a good butt scratch! I’m a nosey boy who loves to watch what’s going on in the yard and I will leap with excitement when I see my favourite people.

Like a typical Greyhound, I enjoy slow walks and snoozing the day away, I’ve recently learnt how to play and had my first zoomies at the centre, which was great!
I would be happy to live with another dog in my new home if they are a similar size to me and we get on when we meet at the centre first. I wouldn’t be able to live with small dogs or cats because I would be too tempted to chase them.

I’m looking for a family who will be home a lot of the time and be understanding of my needs to help me settle in. I can live with older children who would be able to read my body language and understand when I need space, or some reassurance. It is also important that I have a garden to run around in too, now that I’ve discovered the art of zoomies!
