Meet Roobarb!

Hey everyone, my name is Roobarb and I am gorgeous Cockapoo.
I am a very dear dog and very photogenic as you can see, but I am going to need a very patient and understanding new home as I am an anxious girl who isn't used to being left alone at all and doesn't cope with that.
I am a very gentle and sweet, but as I say, I am a anxious and will bark. I will bark at noises, strange people and places.
I love cuddles and like to be close to my owner although I don't really sit on laps. I travel well in the car and am used to seeing traffic but don't enjoy being around crowds of people.
I am good with other dogs when out walking, and my current owner uses a dog walker and doggy day care where I happily go along with the pack. I am good off the lead and have great recall. However, I think I am better suited to being the only dog in the home, and a calmer quiet house will help with my anxiety. I am very clever and will do sits, downs and High 5's, in fact I am happy to do most things for a treat!
I cant live with cats I'm afraid as I will chase them, and an adult only home would be best as children are just too noisy for me.
As you can see I have a beautiful coat that will need regular trimming and care.
It would be great if my new owners have experience of dealing with an anxious dog like me and who will allow me time to settle. I am a very special girl who has been very much loved so hopefully I can find new owners who will love me just as much x

Roobarb is on our Home Direct Scheme which means she is staying in her current home until we can find a suitable match for her. All meets will be done here at the centre.
