Meet Joey!

Hi, I’m Joey, a gorgeous 7 year old boy looking for a new home. I’m a big bundle of love and I can’t wait to find my forever family.

When it comes to humans, I’m a huge cuddle bug, I build bonds with them very quickly and I love any excuse to get sprawled out across someone’s lap for a good nap.

I love to play, especially tug but sometimes it gets me so excited and I need to calm down, maybe it’s something we could work on calmly playing with to bond over.
I enjoy my walks and a good potter about but I do get apprehensive when I see other dogs as I haven’t had a lot of dog socialisation. I’m looking for an owner with experience with this, who can help me build my confidence with other dogs.
For this reason, I will need to be the only dog in the home and I can’t live with cats, because I’m fair too tempted to chase them.

I’m okay to be left alone for a couple of hours but I will sulk that you didn’t take me on your adventures! I really love my humans so I would really like for there to be someone home with me most of the day to keep my company.
I’m looking for a lovely family who will involve me in all of their plans, make me the centre of attention and fill my days with excitement and affection. Preferably they will have a lovely secure garden for me to potter about in too!
