Meet Barney! This relaxed and affectionate four-year-old greyhound spent his earlier years racing and is now ready for a more relaxed lifestyle in a new forever home.

Barney is a warm, friendly boy who walks well on a lead and like most greyhounds, loves to sprint but also enjoys lounging around on the sofa. With his laidback personality, he would suit individuals, couples or families. He is friendly towards other dogs and could potentially live with another dog pending positive introductions at the centre. He has a high prey drive, so he would not be able to live in a home with any small furries or cats.
