Meet Tofu (& Kimchi)!

Hello, we’re Tofu and Kimchi, two shy 6 month old kittens who are still figuring out this big, scary world. We didn’t always have a warm bed or regular meals—once, we lived outside with our siblings, Mochi and Katsu, unsure if people were friends or foes. We were so frightened when we first arrived at the rescue, but slowly, we’re learning that not all humans are scary... and that maybe, just maybe, a forever home could be in our future.

We won’t lie to you—we’re not the confident, cuddle-seeking type (at least, not yet) but if you’re patient and kind, and if you let us go at our own pace, we promise we’ll try our best to be brave. We might not be lap cats right away, but we do love gentle voices, quiet spaces, and soft places to curl up together.

We dream of a calm, peaceful home—one without dogs or other cats, where we don’t have to compete for safety. We could live with older, quiet children who understand that trust takes time. More than anything, we just need someone who will love us exactly as we are and help us grow into the confident, happy cats we’re meant to be.
