October

Meet October!

Hey everyone, my name is October and I am gorgeous boy on the look out for a new home.
I am very much loved by my family but unfortunately they are just unable to keep me but are hoping someone will love me just as much as they do because I am such a good boy.
I can be a bit of a worrier and am nervous at first, things like the wind and rain scare me, but I soon come round especially if I get lots of fuss and reassurance. I may bark at people coming into the home, but again it doesn't take me long to see that I have nothing to fear.
I walk well on my lead, and am very well behaved, only pulling a little before settling down. My current owner doesn't let me off the lead currently because she says my recall isnt the best, so that could be something that we work on together as I would really love to have some off lead time in my new home.
I am very playful, sometimes a bit boisterous and I especially like to play ball although I haven't got the hang of retrieve yet. But I am a clever chap and know lots of commands and can do lots of tricks.
I like to be around people and I am very friendly. Although I haven't lived with children, I have seen family members children regularly and get on great with them so I may suit a nice active family. I am friendly with all dogs that I meet so possibly could live with another dog.
As you can see from my photos I have a beautiful coat, so will need regular brushing and coat care. I am used to sleeping in a crate at bedtime with no issues at all, I just do like to have a night light on!

October is on our Home Direct Scheme so will stay with his current owner until a suitable home is found. All meets will be done here at the centre.
