Meet Zeus!

Say hello to Zeus, a striking 4-year-old male Akita. This handsome boy came into our care through no fault of his own and is now searching for a calm, loving home.

Zeus is incredibly affectionate and bonds deeply with his humans. He’s happiest when he’s by your side, whether it’s during a quiet cuddle or a fun play session. He especially loves squeaky toys, enjoys playing both with people and independently, and nothing makes his tail wag more than a chew treat.

He’s also very food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both of you. Zeus is a clever boy who enjoys learning new things and is always eager to please.

Due to toy guarding, Zeus can walk alongside other dogs calmly but needs to be the only dog in the home. He also cannot live with cats. A home without children under 16 is a must, as he prefers a quieter, more predictable environment.

Zeus does struggle with separation anxiety, so he’s looking for a home where people are around most of the time and can gradually help him build confidence when being left alone. With time, patience, and lots of love, Zeus has the potential to become the most loyal companion you could ask for.
