Meet Ernest !

Hi there, Ernest here! Some of you may remember me as I came into the centre a long time ago with my buddy Stanley. However, it turns out, we weren’t firm friends as the team once thought! The team here at the centre wanted to trial us being more independent gentlemen, and guess what? We liked it being single lads! We were given plenty of time to adjust and even got the chance to go on walkies with other dogs at the centre and made new friends! It also meant we both got the individual training we need and deserved so as far as we are concerned, it was a win win! So please don’t be sad for us, we are both thriving on our own! Who knew the rooms were so spacious here!? Can’t believe how much room Stanley was taking up!

In fact (some exclusive juicy gossip coming your way) Stanley has very recently found his forever home and is super happy! Now, of course I’m delighted for my dear old friend but I can’t help but feel slightly jealous that he was snatched up first...

To bring everyone up to speed, I am 9 years old and looking for a quiet, loving home (no kids or cats, sorry!). I could live with other dogs, but they’d need to dance to my tune!! I’d like a calm companion as I like my personal space and to be quite frank, I am loving all of the attention I am getting as a solo pooch! I am a confident and sweet-natured boy but it's important for me that my new owners understand and respect my boundaries too. I love my walkies and am happy to potter, with my little legs and wise age I’m happy not to go too far!
