Meet Chase!

Hi everyone my name is Chase and I am a beautiful looking young Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, with the shiniest brindle coat you ever did see.
My current owner has done a great job with me so far as I was quite anxious when I was younger but I am turning into one very handsome dog. Unfortunately, due to ill health my current owner knows that I need to move on to a home that will let me live life to full.
So....I am on the look out for an active home, with fit owners who will be able to keep up with me and where we can have lots of fun!
I am an excitable young boy who does get excited when meeting people and other dogs and can be a bit jumpy and boisterous but I am very quick to learn and soon settle down with no issues what so ever. The staff here first met me a few months back and they were amazed at how far I have come - I am such a good boy!
I have come on leaps and bounds with my lead work too, just a bit strong when I get excited now. I am used to being off lead and love having a run and play I just cant promise that my recall is perfect yet!
I travel well in the car so can't wait to get out exploring, especially to the beaches, as that's my favourite place to be.
I really love all children, but the team think older teenage children would be best for me just because I can be quite jumpy and over exuberant.
I have been great with all dogs that I meet out so I could possibly live with another dog, as long as they can cope with a giddy boy like me!
Unfortunately, its a definite no to cats.
I am not used to being left for too long, but for short periods I cope well and like using my crate.
I have been over looked until now but am doing so well so I really hope there is a new family out there for me.

Chase is on our Home Direct Scheme so will stay in his current home until a suitable match is found and all meets will be done here at the centre.
